A bit about me….

My musical lineage is one steeped in folk, classical, jazz and bluegrass. In recent years, I have become a student of sound healing, ceremony, and the language of the elements.

When I was five years old, I held my first violin. I’ll never forget the first time I opened up my case and the scent of wood and rosin with the zest of metallic strings hit my nose. I started out in a Suzuki Program where I learned music as one learns their own native tongue, by ear and imitation. Since then, I have studied under a wide range of teachers and have performed with numerous ensembles. Currently I am working on my first album.

Visual art and creation have been a daily practice for me since before I could walk. Over the years I have studied with many incredible artists and have learned to look at the world around me from numerous perspectives. Now a days, I weave together painting, drawing, storytelling, photography, stop-go-animation, and videography. Through this integrative play I explore what it is to be an infinite soul dancing in this clay body.

Some of my earliest memories consist of playing in the red-orange dirt of the Rocky Mountains. Under an open blue sky, I learned to feel the world with all of my senses. In the nook of my favorite rocks, I connected to the rhythm of my own heart. Over the years, I have nurtured my intuition through studying breath work, the art of ceremony, and heart-centered awareness. My favorite daily practice is a bundle of movement,, song, and breath.
